EACH ARTWORK HAS ITS STORY
Adoring shoes and showing great respect for fruits and vegetables, Severine C. enjoys scenographies featuring the two universes. She uses either her 6m2 workshop, seeking to optimize space, or her own kitchen in the artist’s house ”Villa Port Miou”.
Severine used a Women’s pointed toe shoe for exercise and some peppers. She tried to emphasize the red color, by contrast with stainless steel. She has thus linked the 2 elements "Fire" and "Metal", as in Chinese energy to which she was formed. She added a fork, ready to devour the peppers... or the passion of life!
Natural light gives life to the exercise.
According to Severine C., living spaces are full of corners and nooks that allow the creative spirit to exercise. She wants to stay in a human universe, therefore imperfect and alive, outside of the photos generated with AI. It is in the small and non-ostentatious that human beings are most inventive.
Once the photograph is developed, Severine C. then enjoys to retouch it to paint on details, making this a unique work. The photo is therefore no longer an end, but a means to arrive at a scenic proposal.
Why this tittle?
The arranged peppers seem to form a heart, and the red high heel refers to the lovers' kisses. Putting your lips on the heart is like biting hot peppers to spice up life.
