To enter my universe, it is important to understand what freedom means. I experiment and capture the world with painting, words, photographies, Earth, people, smells, ocean, ...
My creations therefore follow each other and not always look alike.

Severine C. is a prolific multidisciplinary visual artist and author, whose work ranges from painting to drawing, design, scenography or writing. She creates for living spaces and escapes the categories of genre. She explores the themes of the place of Human in his environment and the metamorphosis during the existential path, mixing an intuitive technique with images of the unconscious and inspirations from a more concrete and tangible world.
The complexity of Human, in a non-static whole, is at the heart of her work in art, books and therapy.
After a childhood spent embracing art in many forms (painting, drawing, writing, music, theater), Severine C. Camus follows a classical graduate course in international trade and vine & wine law. She spends 17 years in the world of wine, including in human resources management, and works for great names in wine like François Pinault or the Champagne Louis Roederer. Then she moves as therapist (psychology, Chinese medicine, hypnosis,...) and coach, she experiences altered states of consciousness, until she decides to explore another path in 2019. She reconnects with her artistic soul, and becomes artist and author two years later.​
​Severine C. makes her paintings into wall carpets, using very few wood and linking the creations together. The paintings, which follow each other and are not necessarily similar, thus form a complete artistic work. The "Linked Art" is born. For Severine C. indeed, everything is linked and symbiotic, including in difference and imperfection, which forces to look at the creative path in its entirety. Each work is therefore at the service of “greater”.Deeply inspired by the artistic research of Pablo Picasso, the forms of Juan Miró, the art-deco revolution of the 20’s, or the avant-gardism of couturiers like Jean-Paul Gautier and Christian Lacroix, her practice is nourished by abundant sources that are complementary and not opposed, such as Yin and Yang, conscious and unconscious, the lived and the imaginary, the memory and the projection.
​The cultural traditions, the symbiosis with elements of the living and the altered states of consciousness, are her favorite playgrounds and experimental universes.​
