  • EACH ARTWORK HAS ITS STORY

While styles can be mixed, such as geometric, figurative or abstract, the colors and shapes only obey the connection with the depths of the psyche. The hand becomes the mediator of a world much more subtle than it seems, working alone by connection with the future place or people to whom the work seems intended. After the hand has drawn its lines, the artist adds colors to give birth to more or less conscious forms, more or less abstract or figurative.

The "Collection Onirique" (Dreamlike Collection) reffers to imagination and unconscious of Human.

    THE APPROACH TO WORK

Severine C. wanted to reveal a shamanic universe, to which she is connected. It is indeed a creative process that allows the Man to place himself in a great whole. In the centre, the letters remind us to stay anchored.

Having as medium of predilection the between this china for its brightness and its depth, the black lines and the letters were reworked with it, which required an upstream preparation. In addition to this, the artist used both acrylic and oil, not limiting any texture to arrive at the final alchemical result.

    Why this tittle?
In reference to the artistic creative process, each work being a creation in its own right. In addition, this word is identical in English and French, according to the artist’s wish.

This work is the first to have incorporated geometric letters into it.
