Severine C. Camus' approach consists of creating universes in rooms, building scenographies with paintings, photos, wall works, painted objects, ..., to create a large format painting. She creates tailor-made, letting the universe of a place and its occupants open the way. Her multifaceted approach and her 6 collections thus find their full meaning.
Thus the "IDEAL ROOM" is born.

 

When she does not create for places of life, Severine looks to traduce the complexity of Human by a constant experimentation. She searches to put him back in his environment. This environment could be endogenous (psyche, dreams, symbols, interpretation, ...) or exogenous (nature, Earth, people, society, knowledge, ...).

She uses strong and bright colors - mainly the primary colors - acrylic, oil and china ink on paper and canvas.
